Tulsa retailer Rustic Cuff is ranked No. 7 among small companies in the 2017 top company cultures list presented by Entrepreneur magazine and CultureIQ.

The list is made up of 153 U.S. businesses exhibiting high-performance cultures, according to press information. Rustic Cuff is ranked seventh in the small company category. Also named to the list were Oklahoma City's LifeSquire which was no. 31 on the small company list and Tulsa's Consumer Affairs, which was ranked no. 48 on the mid-sized company list.

"Great company cultures don’t happen on their own," said Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur, in a press release. "They’re the result of great leadership, and a conscious effort to make everyone on a team feel engaged and important.

“The honorees on our 2017 list are proof that strong cultures make even stronger companies. Entrepreneurs at all levels can draw inspiration from them.”

Jill Donovan is the CEO and designer at Rustic Cuff.

"I want anyone on my team to look at coming to the office as their joy, not their job," Donovan said. "I’ve found that when employees don’t have to choose between work and home their loyalty is beyond what I could ever ask for otherwise.”

Rustic Cuff was founded in Tulsa in 2011 by Donovan and has two showrooms in Tulsa, one in Edmond Spring Creek Plaza and Oklahoma City's Classen Curve.

The full list is available on, and includes insights, behaviors and attributes that contribute to high-performing company cultures.
