Tulsa's WNBA playoff series against the Phoenix Mercury tips off next Thursday, according to times and dates announced Thursday by the league.
The opener of the best-of-three Western Conference semifinal series will be nationally telecast by ESPN2, beginning at 9 p.m. CDT from the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix.
NBA-TV (Cox 1322) will televise the second game from the BOK Center on Saturday, Sept. 19. If necessary, a third and deciding game would be played in Phoenix on Monday, Sept. 21.
Tulsa (17-15) finished third in the Western Conference and Phoenix finished second after winning the league title last year.
The Shock visits the Chicago Sky on Friday night and plays the Mercury in its final regular-season home game at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
This is the Shock's only year to qualify for postseason play since moving from Detroit in 2010.
