After leading by as many as 21 points, No. 2 Oklahoma staved off a furious second-half comeback by Tulane to hang on for a 40-35 win Saturday in Norman.

Sooners quarterback Spencer Rattler led the OU offense with 309 yards through the air to go along with a passing and rushing touchdown in the victory.

Running back Kennedy Brooks, making his first appearance for OU since 2019, rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, including a key first down to cement the win.
