Lahoma Wilcox, 69, was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Spark east on Cravens Road about a mile southeast of Wilburton when a 2018 GMC Yukon — driven by another Red Oak woman — that was westbound in the eastbound lane struck Wilcox' car about 2:45 p.m., state troopers said.

The person, whom troopers have not yet identified, walked in front of a tractor-trailer rig that was westbound on Interstate 244 near the L.L. Tisdale Parkway exit Tuesday evening.

He was not wearing a helmet, troopers said. Details of the crash and his condition remain under investigation, according to an OHP news release.

The crash occurred about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. An unrelated fatal crash was reported that evening near Sand Springs, and on Friday morning, a Mannford woman was killed in a crash in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
