State analyzing plans submitted by hospitals to increase their capacity by 40% as COVID-19 spreads
"We are in good shape," the governor said during a regular briefing Tuesday at the state's Strategic National Stockpile supply site. "But I want you to know we are still preparing for a surge."
New projections released Friday indicate deaths could increase more than five-fold by May 1, and cases will grow from less than 2,000 to more than 9,000.
