Dog barks are being heard in the White House again following the arrival of President Joe Biden's dogs Champ and Major, making the pair of German shepherds the first pets to live at the executive mansion since the Obama administration.

In honor of Presidents Day on Monday, here's a look back at some of the presidential pets that have roamed the White House.

President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden's two German shepherds, Champ and Major, officially joined the first family in January in their new residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.:
