Judd Apatow mocked Tom Cruise's height during his Directors Guild of America (DGA) Awards monologue on Saturday night (18.02.23).

Apatow, 55, who is two inches taller than Tom, 60, joked that Tom's famous stunts in his movies are just a ploy to distract viewers from his height.

He said: "The visual effects in ['Top Gun:] Maverick' were so top-notch I couldn't even see the stack of phone books Tom Cruise sat on to reach the flight controls. That's why he's always jumping out of tall buildings because you can't tell how short he is from a 100-story building. That's why when he's standing on a wing of an airplane he's always alone, he doesn't want anyone there next to him for scale.

"Tom is not fine, something is wrong right now. Someone needs to explain something to him called CGI -- you don't need to do the stunts, they look exactly the same when you do them on the green screen. You're 60, calm down."

Judd also blasted Tom's close relationship with the Church of Scientology, saying: "Every time he does one of these new stunts it does feel like an ad for Scientology, it really does. I mean, is that in Dianetics because there's nothing about jumping off a cliff in the Torah? The only thing he seems to be afraid of is coparenting and antidepressants. Do you think if Tom Cruise took antidepressants he'd be like, 'I'm not jumping off of a f****** motorcycle on a cliff? Why do I even work, I'm rich.'"

Kim Kardashian's alleged stalker has breached a restraining order she obtained against him.

Kim, 42, was granted the restraining order against Jomoine Victor Zigler, 28, last month after he reportedly showed up at her home on numerous occasions, called her his wife and sent her a diamond ring.

However, he breached security in her gated community in a bid to see her last week and was arrested by the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department and booked for misdemeanor violation of a protective order, TMZ reports.

Meanwhile, Kim also received a five-year restraining order against Andre Persaud in December, after he became convinced he had been communicating with her telepathically.

Persaud is forbidden from contacting the star and must remain at least 100 yards away from her after he went to her home at least three times in August.

Kim claims to have never met Andre and was concerned he would become violent after he allegedly claimed to have been armed.

Persaud is also said to have posted about the reality star on social media.

The restraining order added Persaud must not own or possess a gun and must surrender to authorities any firearms he may already own.

Kim was also targeted in 2021 by a stalker named Nicholas Costanza.

He was detained by security at her gated Hidden Hills community after sending her a diamond ring and a morning after pill, and arrested for trespassing and violating his five-year permanent restraining order.

Pink has hinted at tensions with Christina Aguilera on the set of 'Lady Marmalade'.

The 43-year-old singer admitted shooting the video with Christina, Lil' Kim and Mýa for their 2001 cover version of the song was not enjoyable and hinted that Christina was the problem.

She told Buzzfeed: "It wasn't very fun to make. I'm all about fun and it was like, a lot of fuss, and there were some personalities...Kim and Mýa were nice.

"I guess it is iconic, but I remember I kept crying because my skin didn't like the makeup. It was just...There was some annoying things happening that day."

Speaking previously about tensions on set, Pink explained in a 2009 VH1 'Behind the Music' special: "[Record executive] Ron Fair walked in. He didn't say hi to any of us and said, 'What's the high part? What's the most singing part? Christina's going to take that part.'

Alicia Silverstone struggled to cope with her 'Clueless' fame.

The 46-year-old actress - who is best known for her leading role in 1995 movie- admitted she didn't know what to do with all of attention the role brought and she soon decided to step back from Hollywood.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: "Things started to happen right away. At the MTV Movie Awards, I won best newcomer and best villain. Then came the Aerosmith videos ['Cryin, Amazing, Crazy'] and I was working a ton, I was working in France with Alain Corneau, I did films with James Gandolfini, with Jeff Goldblum and Christine Lahti, all these different movies. I was very young but I took my acting very seriously."

Richard Gere is recovering after being rushed to hospital in Mexico during a family vacation.

The 73-year-old actor was celebrating his wife Alejandra Silva's 40th birthday at their holiday home in Nuevo Vallarta but their celebrations were put on hold after Gere was reportedly admitted to the local hospital with pneumonia.

TMZ reports that Richard was suffering with a cough before their holiday but it got so bad on the trip that he was forced to seek medical help.

He spent one night in hospital and was discharged with antibiotics to recover at home.

Gere and Silva tied the knot in a secret civil ceremony in 2018, after almost three years of dating, and have two children together.

The kids were with them on holiday and she revealed on Instagram that the whole family had been sick, but did not specify their illnesses.

She wrote: "Thank you all for the birthday wishes.. after almost 3 weeks of everyone being sick in our family today finally I feel much better! Thank you for all the love [heart] I give it all back to you! (sic)."

Gere was previously married to supermodel Cindy Crawford and actress Carey Lowell.

He and Lowell share a 23-year-old son Homer.

Speaking about his marriage to Silva, Gere has said: "I have found the quiet and happy life that I have always sought."

And now an insider has revealed that her younger sibling, Dannii, 51, has been helping the Aussie pop princess nurse her broken heart with lots of family time.

A source told Closer UK magazine: "Dannii has been Kylie's rock over the last few months since things started to fall apart with Paul. They live a stone's throw from each other in Melbourne and Kylie's been spending a lot of time at her sister's with her nephew, Ethan, and Danni's boyfriend, Adrian, who she adores. It was also reported that the former soap star - who famously dated 'Neighbours' co-star Jason Donovan in the late 1980s before getting together with the late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence in 1989 and went on to date French photographer Stephane Sednaoui from 1996 until 2000 - had been trying to keep the breakup "quiet" as she works on her music and world tour plans.

Gigi Hadid's romance with Leonardo DiCaprio "fizzled" out.

The 27-year-old model was romantically linked to Leonardo, 48, last year, but the celebrity duo are no longer seeing each other.

A source told PEOPLE: "She hasn't seen him for a while. She just decided that she was done with him.

"They are at very different places in life. She prioritizes being a mom."

Coco - who has been married to the rapper since 2002 - told 'Entertainment Tonight': "I like it, more than managing myself. Actually, I put my stuff aside for so long, because I love doing her more than me.

The 'Milkshake' hitmaker - who moved to the farm in 2020 - shared: "It's a never a dull moment, I'll tell you that much. Boredom is not an option here. It's busy, definitely busy."

Iggy Azalea thinks the world ought to be "less serious".

The 32-year-old rap star believes that the public should embrace the "ridiculous" nature of pop culture - rather than pushing back against it.

Iggy wrote on Twitter: "Let pop culture be as ridiculous as it wants to be because life is short and too often dull, sad or monotonous.

"I want everyone to be 25 percent less serious."

Hugh Jackman thinks it's "inevitable" that Australia will become a republic.

King Charles became Australia's monarch following the death of Queen Elizabeth in September - but the 54-year-old actor feels it's "natural" that the country will become a republic one day.

Hugh - who was born in Australia to English parents - told 'Laura Kuenssberg on Sunday': "I think Australia will become republican at some point. It feels natural.

"It feels like something that is, I would guess inevitable, and I guess would be a natural part of an evolution of a country. You know?"

Despite this, the Hollywood star insists that he has "absolutely no ill will" towards the royal family.

In fact, Hugh actually admires Charles and Queen Elizabeth.

He shared: "My father made us stop doing whatever we could to watch in 1981 the wedding of Lady Di and Prince Charles. We had champagne.

"So I grew up with a lot of that. There was no bunting in our house, but if my dad could have found that there would have been bunting and I have absolutely no ill will and I only wish King Charles all the best."

Earlier this year, Australia announced that the British monarchy was being removed from its banknotes.

The country's central bank confirmed that an indigenous design, rather than an image of Charles, will feature on its new $5 note.

Treasurer Jim Chalmers said at the time: "The monarch will still be on the coins, but the $5 note will say more about our history and our heritage and our country, and I see that as a good thing."

Pedro Pascal feels like he is "going blind" when he dons his 'Mandalorian' costume.

The 47-year-old actor's alter ego, Din Djarin, removes his helmet as little as possible on the show and though his armour makes him feel "powerful, protected and dangerous", there's disadvantages to his signature outfit because he "can't see s***" and constantly finds himself stumbling and falling.

He admitted to Empire magazine: "When [the armor and helmet is] on, you immediately feel powerful, protected, dangerous, and like a protector... It's like putting on a head-to-toe glove with weights on it.

"It's ironic that you can't see any facial expression because it puts you in the world so completely, and instantly makes the character feel real - but you can't see s***!

Niall Horan has insisted there is "no point" releasing the songs he's recorded with Lewis Capaldi because they are "not good enough".

The former One Direction singer confirmed he has been into the recording studio with the 'Someone You Loved' hitmaker but there is no plans for the tracks they put together to see the light of day because neither of them "adored" them enough.

He told the Daily Star newspaper's Wired column: "There was a night we went into the studio and wrote a couple of songs.

"They clearly weren't good enough because we would have heard them by now.

"One of them was actually decent to be fair. But you get one go at a collab and until we both absolutely adore it and spend more time in the studio, there's not much point in releasing it I don't think."

The 28-year-old singer admitted he hasn't spent a lot of time with Lewis lately because he's trying to cut down on his partying.

He laughed: "We do get on very well behind the scenes.

"He's just an absolute legend and it usually involves a lot of drinking so I've been trying to stay away from him for that reason - the hangovers come quick and fast and strong."

John Lennon's former home inspired Judas Priest's 1980 classic 'Living After Midnight'.

The heavy metal band's guitarist Glenn Tipton has recalled how the song came about while the band were working on their iconic LP 'British Steel' at Tittenhurst Park, where the old residence of the late Beatles frontman is situated in Berkshire, England.

In the early hours, he and frontman Rob Halford created the tune sat opposite Lennon's famous piano from the 'Imagine' music video.

He recalled: "We were working on the songs for 'British Steel' at Tittenhurst Park, which had been John Lennon's old home before he sold it to [Sir] Ringo Starr.

"We'd been out at the pub, and when we got back quite late, I started working on some ideas in the living room, but the noise woke Rob. His bedroom was right above. He came down and said he couldn't get the riff out of his head, so I asked him to sing some lyrics right there on the spot and he came up with, 'Living after midnight, loving till the dawn.' That was how we used to live our life back in those days."

He continued: "I should mention that it was very surreal sitting in the living room with John Lennon's white piano there - the one he played 'Imagine' on in the video for that song."

He added to Guitar Player magazine: "It was really a very simple riff that just worked.

"We finished the music before Rob worked on finishing the lyrics. We didn't have a working title or anything other than the idea that Rob had come up with for the chorus. I think the riff just spoke for itself and like every great song that we ever wrote, it came together really fast. The best songs always do. It was almost fully formed from the outset. It didn't evolve through any different approaches or stylistic changes; it was just born from nothing and worked immediately."

Alison Brie doesn't feel "uncomfortable" with her husband, Dave Franco, directing her sex scenes.

Princess Diana's former butler believes he "must share her secrets" with her sons, Princes William and Harry.

Paul Burrell - who worked for the late royal for a decade until her death in 1997 - is preparing to undergo surgery for prostate cancer and is haunted by the idea he may be running out of time to tell the estranged brothers "the truth".

Kellie Pickler's husband has died in an apparent suicide.

Police were called to the country singer's home in Nashville on Friday (18.02.23) at around 1.21pm after the former 'Dancing With the Stars' contestant was unable to find her spouse Kyle Jacobs - who she married in 2011 - and she and her personal assistant were unable to open the door to a room in the house.

Cops and the local fire department arrived at the abode and found the 49-year-old songwriter "deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound," the Nashville Police Department said in a statement.

They added: "His death is being investigated as an apparent suicide."

Just a day before his death, Kyle - who notably wrote 'More Than A Memory' for Garth Brooks and 'Still' for Tim McGraw - celebrated the success of Lee Brice's 'Hey World' being certified platinum.

He wrote on Instagram: "Platinum?! SWEEEET!!! An amazing crew of incredibly talented peeps put this one together…Deeply honored to be a creative part of it…Thank you Jesus!!! (sic)"

And that was the weirdest thing he could have ever have said, because his standard of what he thought, where I could live as a standard was that album, Rumors album. And he said that to me. So when Prince said that to me, I'm like, oh man, I'm not even divorced yet. I'm just like, I've been dumped, but I'm not, obviously, divorced yet. I'm like, this is way too ironic what you're saying. Right? And I'm such a major Prince fan. And then on top of it, I hadn't found my voice yet, I was still working on it. I was so far from finding it still. I was writing, but I was too insecure to go and get with Prince in the studio. I was too insecure, in every way."

Despite not being ready, Shania didn't give up hope that she would one day get to work with the legend, but he sadly passed away in 2017, aged 57.

She continued: "Plus, I'm on the phone with him and I'm swearing like I always do. He said to me, 'Well, if you do decide to come to Paisley Park, there's no swearing allowed here.' So that was another strike. I'm like, oh no, I love you so much, but I don't think I could get through writing and recording an album without swearing, somewhere along the way! What are you going to do to me if I swear? I might have to stand in the corner or something. I wasn't sure about that. I don't think I was ready for what all that was going to mean for me. I didn't give up on it or anything, but then he died."

Shania, 59, split from Robert in 2008 and the pair were divorced by 2010. The country pop star has been married to business executive Frédéric Thiébaud since 2011.

Dua Lipa is worried her third album could leak online.

The 'Levitating' singer's record company bosses are desperately trying to ensure recordings for the highly-anticipated LP are secure after a song she worked on with Pharrell Williams appeared online this week, with the offcut from 'Future Nostalgia' the latest in a series of unreleased tracks from the 27-year-old pop star to have made it into the public domain.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Over the past month or so countless demos and rejected songs from Dua have been appearing online.

"It's annoying as they didn't make the album for a reason but obviously the main concern is to know if information about her third album is next.

"The stakes couldn't be higher for the record after 'Future Nostalgia' turned her into one of the biggest stars on the planet, so bosses are determined to plug the leak, and quickly. 'Future Nostalgia' leaked a few days before it came out in 2020 and Dua was devastated. She has made it clear it must not happen again."

Dua revealed in December the new record will be "very different" to previous albums and was going to turn out very differently to what she'd originally planned.

She said: " Well when I was speaking to Elton John [in March] I really felt like I was halfway done. But it's taken a complete turn as I've carried on working, and I really feel now that it's starting to sound cohesive. So I'm going to keep writing in the early months of the new year and see where that takes me. The album is different -- it's still pop but it's different sonically, and there's more of a lyrical theme."

However, the 'Cold Heart' hitmaker remained coy about giving any details away about the upcoming album and explained that even revealing the title would spoil the surprise.

She told Variety: "If I told you the title, everything would make sense -- but I think we'll just have to wait!"

Ed Sheeran plays a homeless drug addict in 'Sumotherhood'.

The 'Castle on the Hill' hitmaker's casting in a mystery role in Adam Deacon's upcoming movie was announced last year, and it has now been revealed he underwent a dramatic transformation for his short appearance in the action comedy.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Ed plays this bloke who's not got a home and looks like a crack addict.

"It was filmed a while ago, but work on the movie is almost complete and the hope is it will be out this year.

"The casting makes it an intriguing one and in particular, everyone wants to see Ed. He doesn't have a massive part in the film and although fans will recognise him straight away, they've never seen him looking like this."

The movie also stars the likes of Denise Van Outen, Jennifer Saunders, Peter Serafinowicz, Leomie Anderson, London Hughes, Kevin Bishop, Jaime Winstone, Vas Blackwood and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith.

And Adam - who also appears in the film as well as directing - previously promised the film would "celebrate the variety of life" found in modern east London.

He said last year: "We are so excited that this incredible cast are joining the project bringing these wacky and crazy characters to life.

"More than ever, we are celebrating the variety of life in East London in 2022. Both darkly authentic, as well as embracing the vibrant and diverse lifestyle of living in an East London council estate.

Chris Brown has declared critics who still "hate" him for attacking Rihanna can kiss his "whole entire a**".

The 'Run It!' rapper, 33, pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault for beating up his singer ex-girlfriend before the 2009 Grammys, but has now appeared to back a string of artists who have been accused of abuse in a foul-mouthed tirade on social media on Friday (17.02.23), in which he also ranted about people still pushing a "narrative" about his assault on Rihanna.

He raged in a mainly all-caps rant on Instagram, in which he also referenced rapper Blueface's fight-filled relationship with his girlfriend Chrisean Rock: "Im f****** 33! Im tired of yall running wit this narrative .. you weird a** n***** are the same ones that tune in every week to see Blueface and Chrisean beat the f*** out of each other in front of the world.

"But thats OK? It's entertainment? All yall can suck my d*** disrespectfully."

He said his attack on Rihanna was a "mistake" he made aged 17, then pondered where "cancel culture" was when it came to "white artists" who "date underage women" or "beat the f*** out of their wives", adding: "Oh. That's right.. they are your buddies. No more fake love from me.. Stay out my way or get ran over simple as that!"

Chris then posted a series of photos of white male and female actors and performers who have been accused of or charged with abuse, including Mel Gibson, Ozzy Osbourne and Tommy Lee, and signed off: "I got time today."

Chris' actress ex Karrueche Tran, 34, was granted a five-year restraining order against him in 2017 after he allegedly became aggressive toward her when she would not return money and gifts he gave her during their relationship.

The model and 'Gone Girl' actress, 31, went 'Instagram official' with the 39-year-old comedian on Valentine's Day when she appeared in only a bra in two snaps of him lounging naked on a sofa, but on Friday (17.02.23) posted a TikTok video about moving on from a "situationship".

Only three days after the raunchy 14 February images were posted to Instagram, mum-of-one Emily wrote over TikTok footage of herself apparently lying topless in bed: "What should you do when a situationship ends?"

She then guessed the solution was to "party", but a voiceover from actor Shia LaBeouf could be heard advising: "No, not party."

The words "start another one" then appeared onscreen - prompting Emily's fans to ask whether she was referring to Eric.

Emily was first linked to the comic in January, four months after she filed for divorce from her film producer husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, 42, with whom she shares son Bear, due to turn two in March.

They were photographed together on dates in New York and on holiday in the Cayman Islands last month, and were snapped again cuddling at a New York Knicks game on Monday 13 February.

'The Nutty Professor' actress Stella Stevens has died aged 84 after an Alzheimer's battle.

The actress, who worked alongside Elvis Presley and Jerry Lewis in her heyday as a screen siren, passed away after a long struggle with dementia, her actor-producer son Andrew Stevens confirmed to Deadline on Friday. (17.02.23)

He also told The Hollywood Reporter the actress "had been in hospice for quite some time with Stage 7 Alzheimer's".

Stella worked alongside Elvis in 'Girls! Girls! Girls!' and played Jerry Lewis' dream girl in 1063's 'The Nutty Professor', later remade with Eddie Murphy.

Her other best-known roles include as the lippy wife of Ernest Borgnine in 'The Poseidon Adventure', which was among the biggest movie hits of the 1970s.

Born 1 October, 1938, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, Stella also had a long TV career, appearing in dozens of TV movies and guest-starring in more than 40 series.

For two seasons in the early 1980s, she starred in the primetime soap 'Flamingo Road' and had recurring roles in 'Santa Barbara' and 'General Hospital'.

She was famously a former Playboy centrefold from January 1960, and was modelling in her hometown when she was given a screen test by 20th Century Fox.

Stella is said to have come to regret her association with Playboy magazine, and later said: "I did the best I could with the tools I had and the opportunities given me.

"I was a divorced mom with a toddler by the time I was 17. And Playboy did as much harm as it helped. But in spite of that rough start, I did OK."

Along with son Andrew, she is survived by her grandchildren Amelia, Aubrey, and Samuel.

Her rock guitarist partner of almost 40 years Bob Kulick - the brother of Kiss' Bruce Kulick - died in 2020 aged 70.

Liam Neeson has blasted Disney's 'Star Wars' spin-offs for robbing the film franchise of its "magic" and "mystery".

The 70-year-old 'Schindler's List' actor played Jedi master Qui-Gon Jinn in 1999's 'Star Wars: The Phantom Menace', and despite having roles in other projects linked to the series including TV shows 'The Clone Wars' and 'The Rise of Skywalker', he said he would not be returning to any more.

He said when he joined 'Ant-Man' actor Paul Rudd, 53, during an episode of 'Watch What Happens Live' with host Andy Cohen on Thursday (16.02.23): "There's so many spinoffs of 'Star Wars'. It's diluting it to me, and it's taken away the mystery and the magic in a weird way."

Liam's voice was used in 'The Clone Wars', which ran from 2011 until 2014, and in 2019's 'The Rise Of Skywalker' and had two lines in one of the most recent Disney 'Star Wars' spinoffs, 'Obi-Wan Kenobi', in which his 'Phantom Menace' co-star Ewan McGregor, 51, also returned, playing the title role.

When asked if he would want to act in another 'Star Wars' project, Liam bluntly replied: "No, I'm not."

Liam, also famed for his 'Taken' series, last year told ComicBook.com he would only think about returning to the 'Star Wars' universe if it was for a film and not TV role.

He added: "Yeah, I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to TV, I must admit.

In an interview that will fuel more talk it was an engagement ring, Page Six reported on Friday (17.02.23) that jewellery expert Kyron Keogh - co-founder of jewellery company ROX - had put the huge valuation on the sparkler, which is apparently a "heart cut" diamond of around 10 carats.

Dementia-stricken Bruce Willis allegedly misfired a gun on a film set and needed someone to read his lines to him through an earpiece as his brain condition aphasia worsened.

The 67-year-old 'Die Hard' actor's family revealed on Thursday (16.02.23) the condition had developed into a rare and "cruel" form of dementia - 11 months after witnesses spoke out to claim his deepening health woes were evident while filming three years before he quit acting in 2022.

An article run by the LA Times in March 2022 resurfaced on Friday (17.02.23) after it was publicly confirmed Bruce is now suffering from frontotemporal dementia, in which it was also claimed his lines had to be cut to accommodate his worsening brain decline.

In one alleged incident two years ago on the Cincinnati set of the 'Hard Kill' film, Bruce was said to have unexpectedly fired a gun loaded with a blank on the wrong cue.

The LA Times said two people familiar with the incident recounted the claim, but said they were "not authorised to comment".

No one was injured in the alleged incidents and the film's producer disputed the incident occurred, but the alleged discharge left actors and crew members shaken, according to the newspaper.

But Bruce's 'Hard to Kill' co-star Lala Kent, 32, was quoted by the LA Times saying about his alleged gun misfire: "Because my back was to him, I wasn't aware of what was happening behind me. But the first time, it was like, 'No big deal, let's reset."

She was reported to have asked director Matt Eskandari to remind Bruce to say his line before firing, but it apparently happened again.

One of the two crew members who said Bruce fired the gun on the wrong cue was quoted by the LA Times saying: "We always made sure no one was in the line of fire when he was handling guns."

Film producer Randall Emmett, 51, who has worked with Bruce on 20 films, said the actor didn't fire a gun prematurely and the movie's armorer also denies that the incident happened.

The film came out in August 2020 and Bruce appeared in the flick for only seven minutes.

It has also been reported that in the last few years, Bruce's management made sure Bruce's film shoots only lasted a maximum of two days, in which he would often only work for four hours due to his declining health.

There is also a claim that on the set of Open Source, actor Adam Huel Potter, 41, earned up to $4,150 a week to read Bruce's lines to him through an earpiece.

Florence Pugh has struck up an unlikely friendship with reality TV star Lisa Rinna.

The 'Don't Worry Darling' star is a big fan of Lisa's show 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' and spent three years messaging her online before the pair finally met for the first time during a trip to UK when they were brought together on Thursday (16.02.23) at Harris Reed's London Fashion Week show at the Tate Modern.

In a video posted on Lisa's Instagram page which was taken at the event, a voice behind the camera was heard asking: "Have you guys met before?" with Lisa saying "No" and Florence adding: "Never. But we know each other really well."

Lisa continued to gush about her pal, saying: "We love each other. I love her so much!"

When asked if she watched Lisa's reality TV show, Florence then revealed the pair have been building a friendship online for three years. She said: "Yes I do [watch the show], indeed I do,. You know we've been messaging for the last three years."

Lisa then added: "We've literally DM'd each other for three years".

Florence then revealed she got a huge surprise at the fashion show when Lisa came over to introduce herself. She explained: "So when she came and said hi to me I was like, 'Oh! Friend!'"

Lisa posted the video on her social media page alongside the caption: "@harris_reed tonight what a magnificent show! Love finally meeting you @florencepugh ... "

Dame Olivia Newton-John's husband John Easterling still talks to her out loud six months after her death.

The 'Grease' star died in August aged 73 after a long battle with cancer and her grieving husband has given his first interview since the tragedy in which he opened up about life without his partner - admitting he still feels her presence and often chats to her as he walks around the house they shared.

During an appearance on the 'Today' show, he explained: "[I feel her mist often] late at night, early in the morning. I'll just be walking around the house, or throwing the ball for the dogs and just speak to her out loud."

John - who was married to the actress/singer for 15 years - also shared some helpful advice he was given by a stranger on a plane after his wife's death.

He went on: "A guy I was flying with said, 'You know, John, when you're lucky enough to have found your true soul mate, and you share a heart, when one passes, the other has the obligation to live life for both.' And that was very empowering and very powerful for me, and, you know, and gave a way forward."

Olivia's daughter Chloe Lattanzi also took part in the interview and she revealed the last words her mother uttered to her before her death - and revealed the star was still joking up until the end.

Chloe said: "The last words she could say to me was: 'My sunshine' ... And right before she lost her ability to speak, she was making jokes."

She added of her loss: "I love my mom more than anything. She's my mama, you know? She's not Olivia Newton-John to me, but I'm so glad that she was Olivia Newton-John for so many people."

Michael Cera doesn't have a smartphone and avoids social media.

The 34-year-old 'Superbad' star is determined to live without the latest technology because he's happy being off the grid but insists his decision not to join sites like Twitter or Instagram wasn't "conscious" - he just never got around to it because he doesn't find them interesting.

He told The Hollywood Reporter: "It doesn't feel conscious [the decision not to join social media]. I guess it's just something that I didn't elect to do. Because everybody does it, it starts to feel like a big choice. But it's just not interesting to me."

Cera added of his phone situation: "I also don't have a smartphone. And that is a conscious choice, because I feel a bit of fear about it honestly like I'd really lose control of my waking life."

The actor went on to reveal he was put off smartphones when he had lunch with a friend who paid more attention to his Blackberry than his dining companion.

Cera explained: "Right when people started having smartphones, when it was Blackberries, I had lunch with a friend of mine who was my best friend at the time, and he'd just gotten a Blackberry, and for the whole meal he was typing emails, and I was sat there lonely and bored. So I had an early aversion to them."

The movie star insists his decision to avoid the latest technology baffled people for some time but many are now telling him they are jealous of his decision to stay off grid.

He added: "For many years, people resented me for this lifestyle choice. But now people say that they envy it."

Pink was told her music career "would be over" if she had children.

The 'Never Gonna Not Dance Again' hitmaker - who has daughter Willow, 11, and son Jameson, six, with her husband Carey Hart - was told she would put her career in jeopardy if she started a family, however, the 43-year-old pop star believes it actually "began" after she became a mother.

She told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1: "Everyone told me, 'If you have children right now, your career's over.' But I think, interestingly enough for me, everyone has this idea of me that I'm just my singles, right? That I'm the snarling, man-eating angry, like she-man. Right? And, obviously, we're all much more complex than any of that, but when I had a child, I think it softened me to the world, the part that didn't understand me. And I think that's when my career began, really. I mean, I did a lot of stuff before that, but really, truly, I think it's when I started to really understand myself and understand the world, and my place in it."

The 'Trouble' hitmaker - who released her ninth studio album 'Trustfall' today (17.02.23) - admits she felt "lonely" just doing music and starting a family was just as important as being an entertainer for her.

I really wanted to have a family and it was just as important to me as ambition because I didn't want it, if it's just ... if this is the carrot, I've eaten it. I'm still hungry. I'm hungry. I'm empty, and I love writing songs. I love singing songs. I love performing. Sitting with a guitar is one of my favourite things I'll ever do, but cuddling with my babies and taking them camping and being dirty for three days is also one of the coolest things I'll ever do, and making wine also happens to be pretty cool."

New 'Live' presenter Mark Consuelos is delighted he's found a way to "get paid" to listen to his wife Kelly Ripa.

The 'Riverdale' actor is set to replace Ryan Seacrest as co-host of the ABC daytime show and after sending his well-wishes to his friend, he joked it is a sign of how "great" the US is that he'll be earning money for working alongside his spouse, who has fronted the show for over 20 years.

Mark wrote on Instagram: "Congrats on your next chapter @ryanseacrest. I love you like a brother. I know I have some big shoes to fill … well actually they're only a size 9, but you know what I mean.

"@kellyripa my ride or die. This is going to be amazing! I can't believe after all these years of listening to you talk for free, I found a way to get paid for it. Is this a great country or what? (sic)"

Meanwhile, Ryan urged his successor to "remodel" his new dressing room while pledging to retain his close friendship with Kelly.

He wrote on his own Instagram account: "I'm going to miss my work wife and all the laughter we share. When I signed on to host Live in 2017 it was meant to be for 3 years, but I loved the job and working with Kelly so much that I extended my time and last year I made the decision to stay on for one more final season.

Austin Butler drank microwaved ice cream and dozens of doughnuts to pile on the pounds to play Elvis Presley.

The former Disney star - who won the Golden Globe for Best Actor for his portrayal of the late King of Rock and Roll in Baz Luhrmann's biopic 'Elvis' and is hotly-tipped to walk away with the Oscar in the same category at the upcoming Academy Awards - was inspired by Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling's method for gaining weight for a role.

Appearing on the 'Variety Awards Circuit' podcast, he spilled: "I heard that Ryan Gosling, when he was going to do 'The Lovely Bones', had microwaved Häagen-Dazs and would drink it. So I started doing that."

The 31-year-old actor, who wore a body suit for the part, enjoyed the sweet treats to start with but quickly started to feel "awful" about himself.

He continued: "I would go get two dozen doughnuts and eat them all. I really started to pack on some pounds. It's fun for a week or so, and then you feel awful with yourself.

"But we were planning on shooting chronologically in the beginning. That quickly went out the window, then especially with COVID. It was just impossible."

Not only was the role physically demanding, but Austin also didn't get to see his family for three years while working on flick.

The 'Dune: Part Two' actor went years without seeing his loved ones with filming in Australia.

He recalled in a previous interview: "During 'Elvis', I didn't see my family for about three years. I was prepping with Baz, and then I went to Australia.

"I had months where I wouldn't talk to anybody. And when I did, the only thing I was ever thinking about was Elvis. I was speaking in his voice the whole time."

And Austin explained how the coronavirus pandemic altered the production schedule and meant that he and Luhrmann had to find "subtle ways" to represent the music icon ageing.

He said: "Initially, Baz said we could film it in sequence.'Well, OK, I can take a break and gain the weight.' But with Covid, the whole schedule got turned upside down.

"We ended up working a lot with finding subtle ways that you can age. Elvis ended up experiencing a lot of pain in his knees, in his back, and I felt that completely."

He also damaged his vocal cords singing Elvis songs 40 times.

Paris Hilton feared she was asexual before meeting her husband Carter Reum.

The 42-year-old socialite has opened up about her past difficulties with sex revealing she used to be "terrified" of "anything sexual" and admitting many of her previous relationships ended because she wouldn't go further than kissing - but that all changed when she met businessman Carter.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine, the publication reported that when she was in her 20s, Paris "had started to think of herself, privately, as asexual".

She is now focusing on raising her little boy and admits becoming a mother has made her feel "complete".

Paris added of her baby boy: "I want to protect him and to be with him every second. You have this mother instinct that kicks in, which I've never had before. I feel so complete now."

Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough are no longer speaking amid the row over Lisa Marie Presley's trust.

The late singer died on 12 January aged 54 and two weeks later, her mother Priscilla filed a petition questioning the "authenticity and validity" of an amendment made to her daughter's trust - which includes her late father Elvis Presley's iconic home Graceland and 15 percent ownership of his estate -in 2016 which removed her and business manager Barry Siegel as trustees and appointed Lisa Marie's children, Riley and the late Benjamin Keough instead.

The 'Runaways' actress is said to be "heartbroken" over the rift between her and her grandmother, but the pair are only communicating through their respective legal teams.

A source told 'Entertainment Tonight': "It has been a very tense and heartbreaking few weeks for both Riley and Priscilla. Riley has been mourning the loss of her mother and is heartbroken to have to deal with a trust dispute with a family member.

"Priscilla is adamant that she has a valid case and that she will prevail in court. Riley and Priscilla aren't communicating at this time, but have been in communication through lawyers.

The 'Daisy Jones and the Six' actress - who has a baby daughter with husband Ben Smith-Petersen - is keen to settle the matter privately without a lengthy legal battle.

The insider added: "They are both gearing up for court, [but] Riley would prefer to settle this dispute privately.

"She is heartbroken that this has turned into a public matter and knows her mother would never want this. Riley is very stressed at the moment and has been trying to keep a positive attitude and outlook ahead of her new series coming out.

"Her daughter and husband have been keeping her in good spirits."

As for Priscilla, the insider said the 77-year-old star is doing what she feels "is right in her heart" and is determined to pursue the matter because she's still "convinced" the 2016 amendment was faked.

The source said: "She is convinced that old documents had been forged."

Lisa Marie's spokesperson previously confirmed Graceland would go to her daughters, Riley, 33, and 14-year-old twins Harper and Finley.

Niall Horan admits it's "really scary" releasing new music after being away for a while.

The Irish pop star - who shot to fame as a member of the chart-topping boy band One Direction - is back today (17.02.23) with his first new music since his 2020 LP 'Heartbreak Weather', 'Heaven', from his upcoming third solo album 'The Show'.

And the 'Slow Hands' singer is a "little nervous" for fans to hear the "version" of himself presented in the lyrics.

He explained in a letter to fans: "Thank you so much for being patient with me. I've since spent the past 18 months or so working on the next record.

"Joel Little, John Ryan and I got working on some ideas that I'd written at home during lockdown, and of course some newer stuff."

He continued: "What makes this record incredibly special to me is it's a reflection of where I am in my life today, as a person, a musician, and of course, as a songwriter. Can't say I'm not a little nervous, but hopefully, you'll still like this version of me when you listen to the new record.

"There's something really scary about being away for so long and coming back with new music, but I couldn't be more thankful for all you amazing people that have stood by and supported me all of these years.

"These songs are for you, as much as they are for me."

Thanking his fans for their continued support, he added: "I couldn't possibly be more happy to tell you that my new album 'The Show' will be released on June 9th.

Ashton Kutcher puts orange juice in his coffee.

The 45-year-old actor - who has two children with wife Mila Kunis - insisted there was a valid reason for his unusual drink combination and the sweetness of the fruit helped enhance the flavours in his caffeinated beverage.

Appearing on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', Ashton played a game where he had to convince the audience why his obsession should be their obsession, but when it was revealed to be orange juice in coffee, even the host was baffled.

Kelly exclaimed: "Wait, what?!"

The 'Your Place or Mine' actor urged Kelly to let him explain the valid reasoning behind his obsession.

He said: "I'm not big on creamers. I don't like creamers. I usually drink black coffee. That is my go-to: black coffee.

"But, occasionally, I like light roast black coffee and one of the things about light roast black coffee is that it has citrus notes in it. And it's one of the things that make... It's the acidity that sort of gives it a brightness when you're drinking coffee.

"And so it doesn't get the burnt sense about it. So if I ever have like a medium roast coffee and I'm like, 'Ah, I really would prefer this be a little bit more light roast,' I take just a splash, not very much, a splash of orange juice and it brights up the coffee. And gives it a little bit of sweetness."

The 'Breakaway' singer admitted she was unconvinced but promised to try the drink.

She said: "It sounds gross, but I'm going to try it."

But her guest warned her not to "go overboard" with the juice and to use "just a splash" or it "gets all sorts of not fun."

Elvis Costello has recalled the late Burt Bacharach putting him in his place in the studio.

The songwriting pals first met in 1989 while working at the same recording studio and worked together for almost three decades.

And while recalling working on their 1998 LP 'Painted From Memory', the 68-year-old Grammy winner said the legendary composer was a "very considerate" person, but when it came to music, he had the kind of rigorous approach that "makes you fall in line".

In an interview with The Times newspaper, Costello said Bacharach - who died from natural causes aged 94 on February 8 - was: "Very considerate, but he won't let anything get in the way of the music, and all the geniality and elegance on the surface of the songs hides the power at the heart of them."

He continued: "Once he gets the shape of a melody he won't negotiate. 'Could I get a triplet, so I can use it against this three-syllable word?' -- 'No, you can't.' After a while, the sheer rigour of his approach makes you fall into line."

Costello admits these kinds of "chance encounters" are rare today because a lot of artists work remotely.

He said: "These are the chance encounters that don't happen today because now everyone makes albums on their laptops.

"I had been using a marimba with the same suspension as [that in the Bacharach classic] '24 Hours from Tulsa', as a gesture of acknowledgment really. He was down the hallway so I asked him to listen."

Asked what the 'What the World Needs Now Is Love' hitmaker thought, Costello replied: "He was gentlemanly about it."

Upon the sad news of Bacharach's death, which happened before the release of the boxset 'The Songs of Bacharach and Costello' - which is out on March 3 - Costello admitted he's devastated that the pair won't get to collaborate again.

He said: "I am very sad today. But Burt Bacharach means the same to me this morning as he did at midnight on Wednesday, when the call came. I have to accept that there will not be the next song that he -- or even we -- might still be about to write. I will always struggle to think of him in the past tense."

Raven-Symoné wants to direct a 'Cheetah Girls' reunion movie.

The clip was posted on Instagram, and TikTok featured a pinned comment from Emily that read: "Liana and I are both Eastern European so I was being playful! This is how you say it in Polish!"

Selena Gomez has gained weight as a result of her medication she's taking.

The 30-year-old pop star was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease lupus in 2014 and explained that her weight tends to fluctuate because of water retention when she is on medication but wanted to urge others who may be struggling with their figure for similar reasons to remember that they are still "beautiful" and "wonderful."

She said: "I tend to hold a lot of water weight and that happens very normally. And then when I'm off of [my medication], I tend to lose weight.

Drake and 21 Savage have settled their lawsuit with Vogue magazine's publishers.

The pair were sued by Conde Nast last November for at least $4 million in damages for allegedly using the fashion bible's name without permission to promote their album 'Her Loss', and earlier this week, the two stars agreed to pay the company an undisclosed sum before the case went to court, TMZ reports.

In the lawsuit, Conde Nast argued the musicians' publicity campaign was build "entirely" on the unauthorised use of Vogue trademarks and false claims they would appear on the next cover of the publication with the "love and support" of editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

A complaint filed in Manhattan federal court accused the pair of having exploited the "tremendous value that a cover feature in Vogue magazine carries" and added: "All of this is false. And none of it has been authorised by Conde Nast...

"Vogue magazine and its Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour have had no involvement in 'Her Loss' or its promotion, and have not endorsed it in any way.

"Nor did Condé Nast authorize, much less support, the creation and widespread dissemination of a counterfeit issue of Vogue, or a counterfeit version of perhaps one of the most carefully curated covers in all of the publication business."

The publishers said Drake and Savage created a fake issue of the magazine which was distributed in major metropolitan areas, accompanied by posters that mimicked Vogue's layout.

They argued this resulted in "unmistakable" confusion among members of the public, including media outlets which hailed the pair as the magazine's "new cover stars".

After the lawsuit was filed, a federal judge issued a temporary restraining order blocking all current and future displays of the spoof publication.

Ryan Reynolds "ain't telling" the sex of his new baby.

The 'Deadpool' actor's wife Blake Lively revealed on Sunday (12.02.23) that their fourth child - a sibling for daughters James, eight, Inez, six, and three-year-old Betty - had been born via an Instagram post showing her baby bump had gone, and the 46-year-old actor insisted the pair have no plans to make a formal announcement about the tot's birth.

Asked if they had had a boy or a girl, he told CNBC's 'Power Lunch: "I ain't telling. This ain't a birth announcement.

"We didn't make a birth announcement, we just posted a photo and the media sort of did what it does after that."

But the 'Free Guy' actor confirmed his family were all "doing fantastic" since the baby was born.

He said: "We're very excited. Look, we wouldn't do this four times if we didn't love it. Everybody's doing great. Everybody's actually doing fantastic. If we hadn't figured it out by now, I think we'd be in deep, deep trouble."

However, Ryan joked things were also rather chaotic in their home.

Blake revealed over the weekend she had given birth.

The former 'Gossip Girl' star simply shared an image on Instagram which showed her without a baby bump and captioned the post: "Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023 been busy.(sic)"

Ryan recently praised his family for giving him "more strength than any man could possibly deserve".

Speaking as he accepted the Icon prize at the People's Choice awards, he said: "Blake and my girls, you are quite literally - you're my heart. You're my hope, you're my happiness.

Armie Hammer has had a temporary restraining order case against him dropped.

The embattled 'Call Me by Your Name' actor, 36, who is still fighting to claw back his Hollywood career after a string of his messages featuring extreme sexual fantasies emerged in 2021, saw the court throw it out on Wednesday (15.02.23) after an accuser aged 26 did not turn up at the hearing.

She claimed Armie choked her unconscious during sex and ignored a safe word while allegedly under the influence of a cocktail of alcohol, ketamine and ecstasy.

The accuser filed papers in Pitkin County, Colorado, on 1 February and was granted the temporary restraining order two days later, which has since been dismissed, but can be refiled.

Her filing had asked for no further contact after Armie allegedly reached out to her on 27 January after months of no communication.

In a statement, his lawyer Andrew Brettler said: "Armie does not know this person, has never heard of this person, and was in Los Angeles on the day when the alleged incident supposedly occurred in New York City.

"We have photographs of him in LA on the date in question."

The lawyer added Armie had not been served papers in relation to the case so had no obligation to appear at the hearing on Wednesday.

Armie has been accused by multiple women of sexual assault, emotional manipulation and of having violent fantasies involving cannibalism.

He broke his silence over the claims earlier this month in an interview with the newsletter Air Mail to say he had been an "a******" and claim he had been abused by a pastor when he was 13.

His estranged wife said days later in an interview with Elle magazine he had broken her heart into "nine million pieces".
