Corrections, clarifications

A Sunday Tulsa World editorial incorrectly described who would be appointing members to an advisory committee looking at the McGirt v. Oklahoma Supreme Court decision. Attorney General Mike Hunter and the Oklahoma District Attorneys Council will appoint members in addition to 10 people recently named by Gov. Kevin Stitt.

A Friday Tulsa World story about funds for personal protective equipment for schools included incorrect data about how many children in the 5 to 17 age range have been hospitalized with COVID-19. Gov. Kevin Stitt’s spokesman said the governor misread a written statistic when commenting at a press conference Thursday. The number is fewer than 30, the spokesman said.
