On January 8th the 5A #2 Bulldogs traveled to Claremore to wrestle McAlester, East Central and #11 Claremore in their district quad to see who advances to Dual State in Shawnee on February 8th and 9th.

The Bulldogs who are returning Dual State Runner Ups were looking to win Districts for the third year row and an opportunity to compete for another chance to win a Dual State Championship.

The evening opened up with Skiatook wrestling McAlester and the Bulldogs took care of business with a perfect 84 to 0 win over the Buffaloes. The next opponent for Skiatook was East Central. As with McAlester Skiatook had no problem with the Cardinal’s as they would dominate the dual with a 76 to 6 dual win.

The last dual of the evening would be against Claremore and it would determine who would advance to Dual State. Skiatook would once again dominate and win in convincing fashion with a 64 to 6 dual win and win District 5A-7.
