Two results could come with our huddling at home: sitting around and constantly eating, thus gaining unwanted pounds, or going on a diet. I ran across Dolly Parton’s seven-day diet that should be ideal inspiration for shrinking that belly fat, increasing energy and cleansing the system.
The base is an all-vegetarian soup. You can eat as much of the fat-burning soup as you want any time. The more you eat, the more you lose. In it you have cabbage, tomatoes, celery, bell peppers, green onions and Lipton mix for flavor. Drop in some spices to keep it from being bland.
Day one, you eat soup and fruit, and more soup. It’s basic vegetable soup without meat and potatoes. Also no carbs, alcohol or dairy products. Since I’m a meat-and-potato, bread-and-milk guy this is going to be hard for me, but I’ll carry on.
On day two, eat fresh, leafy green vegies (no carrots, but they’re not green anyhow) and more soup. Oh, yeah, you can have a baked potato with a little margarine. Day three, it’s vegies, fruit and more soup. Day four, bananas with skim milk, and soup. We need that potassium, calcium and carbs.
Day five is good: normal food, beef and fresh tomatoes, and don’t forget the soup. Day six, vegies and soup. On day seven, if you have stuck to the diet, you will have lost 11 pounds.
I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m thinking about it. And if you don’t lose 11 pounds, don’t call me, and I don’t know if Dolly will talk to your or not.
