Midway wristbands for the 2016 Fall Festival celebration planned September 15-17 are now on sale.
Coweta Chamber Director Carrie Allamby said wristbands are available for purchase at BancFirst Coweta, the First National Bank of Coweta, The Emporium Boutique and the Coweta Chamber office until 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 or until they all sell out.
Advance purchase bands are $20 each and may be used either Thursday, Sept. 15 from 5-10 p.m. or on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. A different band is required for each session.
As the festival approaches, Allamby said there are new and exciting things coming to this year’s celebration.
“We are expanding this year’s festival to include an additional food court with food trucks on West Cypress and there will be outdoor seating,” she explained. “We will also have a mechanical bull on Friday and Saturday. Those who want to ride will have to pay the attendant as this is not included in the midway ticket purchase price.”
Also new will be giant hamster balls which patrons can enjoy for an additional cost.
Allamby said festival patrons should stay tuned to the Chamber’s Facebook page for up-to-date information about Fall Festival.
Crews with K95.5 will be in Coweta for a live remote Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
“We are excited about this year’s exhibitors and the growth our festival is experiencing,” Allamby said. “Come out and have a great time at the 42nd Annual Coweta Fall Festival!”
