July 28, 2020 Notice to Design-Builders, subcontractors and trade partners: The State of Oklahoma, on behalf of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, is issuing a Request for Qualifications to seek Design-Build Services under a Progressive Design-Build Agreement model in the assessment, design, and construction of multiple capital improvement projects throughout the Oklahoma State Parks System. Projects include but are not limited to lodge expansions and renovations, cabin interior and exterior renovations, modifications to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, life safety and water treatment systems, upgrades to campsites and RV sites, various paving projects, boat docks and boat ramps, performing arts center repairs, group camp improvements, ampitheaters, and various historical preservation projects. Interested Design-Build teams are invited to request an electronic copy of the RFQ by emailing a statement of interest to In order to submit a response to the RFQ, Design-Build teams must be registered with the State of Oklahoma. Registration instructions and contracts are included in the RFQ. Subcontractors and trade contractors, whether considered design-build or not, are encouraged to solicit area Design-Builders to be a part of the design-build team submitting proposals.
