Depression is an illness that affects the whole body, causing persistent changes in a person’s mood, behavior and feelings. It is one of the leading causes of disability in the U.S. In addition to causing emotional distress, it can lead to physical pain. This group gives those battling depression a place to talk through their struggles and provides opportunities to learn from others engaged in the recovery process. Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month.
