OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Edmond man has been arrested after he met with a person he believed to be a 15-year-old female with whom he had been corresponding over the Internet, authorities said.
Dennis Richard Harms, 44, was arrested Wednesday without incident at Quail Springs Mall, Richard A. Marquise, special agent in charge of the FBI in Oklahoma, announced in a news release.
According to an affidavit, Harms allegedly corresponded via e-mail and chat rooms with the person he believed to be the 15-year-old girl.
The content of the conversation became sexually explicit, according to the affidavit. The affidavit said a meeting was set up for the girl and Harms to meet at the mall.
Harms has been charged with using the Internet to knowingly persuade, induce, entice a minor to engage in prostitution or other sexual activity.

Lawton students relocate after fire guts school
LAWTON -- Students at Pecan Elementary School have moved into temporary quarters at nearby Edison Elementary School after a weekend fire gutted their school auditorium and caused extensive smoke damage throughout the building.
"The kids will probably be here a minimum of two months," Superintendent Barry Beauchamp said.
Seven portable classrooms were placed behind Edison at a cost of $40,000 to house the Pecan students. There are slightly more than 100 Pecan students. The fire started with a faulty heater.
Welch man killed when run over by tractor
A Welch man was killed Wednesday while driving his tractor on a Craig County road, authorities said.
Lawrence Ahrens, 65, died of massive head injuries at the scene of the 11:30 a.m. accident near Welch, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Ahrens was driving the tractor north on the road when he lost control of it. Ahrens fell over the front of the tractor, and it then ran over him, the patrol said.
Police search for escapee from Dunn Center in Taft
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Prison officials were searching Thursday for escapee Jeremy Klein, who escaped a day earlier from Jess Dunn Correctional Center in Taft.
Officials noticed that Klein was missing during a 4:30 a.m. Wednesday prisoner count, said Jerry Massie, Oklahoma Department of Corrections spokesman.
Klein was serving a 10-year sentence with five years suspended from Caddo County for conspiracy to commit a felony, Massie said.
Klein, 22, is a white male with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds, Massie said.
Chickasha churches defaced with Nazi-like markings
CHICKASHA -- Vandals have used a black marker to draw figures resembling swastikas at six churches in Chickasha over the past week.
The figures were left on the sidewalks of three churches and on the door of a fourth over the weekend. The drawings were found last week at two other churches.
The latest vandalism comes a few months after someone used spray paint to vandalize property.
Arts, crafts festival set Saturday in Hominy
HOMINY -- The 25th annual Hominy Arts and Crafts Show will be held Saturday in the Mann Elementary School.
Some 70 booths will display goods including ceramics, handmade dolls, toys, clocks and other items for holiday gifts. Admission is free.

Foyil Farmers Market gets under way Saturday
The Foyil Farmers Market -- featuring arts and crafts, food, horse- drawn wagon rides, a tractor pull, a Foyil alumni booth and the Foyil United Methodist Men's annual auction -- is set for 9 a.m. Saturday.
The event runs until 3 p.m. in Foyil, about 40 miles northeast of Tulsa on Oklahoma 66.
An outdoor stage will feature performances by Paul and the Jaguars, featuring Rhonda Burns and Jeannie Land, plus local talent.
